Spanky Posted May 2, 2003 Share Posted May 2, 2003 Every year in the month of April since my dad passed away my mom has always collected for cancer. This year was no exception & even though she didn't take her usual route this year(it would've been too much for her to handle), she still wanted to help out so she offered to collect on both sides of her street. She ended up collecting a little over $700 for the cancer society(a little shy of what she was hoping for), and given the circumstances, I think she did very well & I'm very proud of her.
