CT Chest ~ What areas does it cover?

Hi Everyone 😃 

I have an upcoming CT scan of my chest.  I’m wondering, will the scan cover my armpits/lymph nodes in that area?

I’ve had some swelling and tenderness/pain on the right side, same side the nodules in my lung were located.  So, I just want to make sure that area will also be covered.  I have googled it but I’m not clear on the answer.

May I suggest you shoot a note or make a quick call to the physician who ordered the scan and ask them— I always think going to the source is the best idea. I think it’s especially important to share with them the concern that is prompting  your question.

Just in case anyone else is curious about this question, the chest CT does cover armpits and lymph nodes in that area.
