I was diagnosed with basal cell skin cancer in August and during the the pre-op they did a chest xray. Chest xray showed a large mass in my left lung. After many weeks they opted not to do surgery due to several other health concerns so in mid November I had had every other day treatments of SRBT(Pin point radiation). Won't know how effective it was until February, I hate waiting.

Sharon,

Welcome here. I also hate the waiting associated with this disease. I was so disturbed by the waiting associated with scans and outcomes that I wrote a book about it: Scanziety!

I also had "pin point radiation" or SBRT that effectively treated a solid lung tumor in my left lung. This worked for me, in fact, it likely saved my life. I really hope you have my kind of outcome.

Stay the course.

Tom
