TeeTaa
Dear Friends, Many times, I've seen posts from those of you who have lung cancer and those of us who are family members where we wish for one simple thing - a normal day - if only for one more time. A friend who recently came very close to losing her husband shared the following poem with me, as she had those very same feelings. NORMAL DAY Let me be aware Of the treasure you are. Let me not pass you by in quest of Some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, For it will not always be so. One day I shall dig my fingers Into the earth, Or bury my face in the pillow, Or stretch myself taut, Or raise my hands to the sky, And want more than all the world Your return. - Mary Jean Irion My wish for you all is that you someday find that elusive "normal day" once again. Blessings, TeeTaa
