Found something small in lung after CT scan post treatment

Hi guys so about 2 months ago my mom had a scan and they said they found something odd in her lung something small but odd. She completed chemo and radiation a while back and it shrunk a lot to a point of where it's barley there. She has a CT scan on Thursday to see if that odd spot got bigger or if it stayed the same. Hipeing it stayed the same or disappeared but they say if it grew they would put her on a pill I'm guessing it's target therepy. Just wondering if this ever happened to you guys and what were the result
