Cancer Sucks
I will have an MRI without and with contrast of the brain this Thursday. Then I will see an oncologist next Tuesday with all of the results. I know I have a mass LUL, it is squamous cell carcinoma. Have nodules on both adrenal glands ( they think they are not cancer). Only had one lymph node that was questionable. ( They believe not cancer). I will hopefully be getting info. on stage, treatment plan etc. The waiting is awful. LouT
The diagnostic process can seem like the toughest part of our journey. It’s waiting, hearing bad news, and then waiting some more. But hang in there. Once a diagnosis is made and treatment plan devised it seems to give us a sense of purpose and action rather than just anxiety and fear of results. In the meantime please take a look at something I share with all newcomers to our forum. “10 Steps to Surviving Lung Cancer; from a Survivor“. It tells the story of one of our members who was diagnosed at Stage 3 then 4 and 18 years later was pronounced cured. Stay in touch, update when you can, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Lou Cancer Sucks, Livin Life and Tom Galli 2
