David A Posted January 30, 2003 Share Posted January 30, 2003 HI Janet, I was iniatally told I probably wouldn't be a candidate for surgery by my oncoclogist, after my 1st round of chemo I was coughing up blood so my oncologist ordered a another cat scan that showed considerable shrinkage in the tumor. Like you I wanted surgery and I am glad that it was done even with all the side effects.
