Guest Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 Hiya My mom is currently having chemo (Carboplatin and Etoposide) every 3 weeks and mom has been put forward for the drug Thalidomide which was a drug given to mothers in the 60's for morning sickness. Mom is to take this twice every day. Rumours are that this drug is on trial now for cancer patients and what is appears to be doing is stopping the blood supply to the cancer which is stopping the cancer from growing. my mom will never know that she is taking this drug but we can only hope Take care to you all Love joey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
