WILLIAM ROBERTS, a loving father and devoted husband, went to heaven to be with our Lord Thursday, April 22, 2004. Born Feb. 27, 1951, in Fort Wayne, he was a graduate of East Bay High School, Florida, and then attended The University of South Florida. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed a successful career in sales management and marketing, having been employed most recently by Elixir Industries and Amercan. Survivors include his wife, Margaret J. "Peg" Roberts; daughter, Sarah Roberts of Fort Wayne; mother, Norma Koehl of Ruskin, Fla.; sister, Charlene Zimmerman of Largo, Fla.; brother, Tom Roberts of Warsaw; stepbrother, Barry Koehl of Richmond, Va.; stepsister, Judy Klages of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Roberts; and his stepfather, Franklin Koehl. Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne St. The family will receive friends at a reception in McKay Hall, immediately following the service. Private burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial is the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W.
