Ven
Hi, I came across a site which I thought I would pass along - you can actually ask the oncologists questions and they will reply via email. Haven't tried this yet but it sounds good http://www.cancerlifecenter.com/ There are also links to clinical trials, by state, and much more pertinent information. Hope it helps someone in the constant search for answers.

jamie
Ven, I checked it out and it looks like an informative one... Everyone should check it out Jamie
Elaine
I also checked it out, and while it does look good, I think I should add that it costs money to ask the Oncs questions. 100.00 for 30 days, 200.00 for 90 days and 300.00 for a one year access. There are only a few questions with answeres posted. I dont know if that means that those are the only questions that have been asked or if they are only posting a representative few. Anyway, that's the scoop. It could be worthwhile money spent especially if one has oncs who aren't good communicators. The examples of answers were detailed and clearly understandable to lay persons. Ven
Yes, I was wondering if there was a cost involved. As you say, Elaine, might be worthwhile if answers are needed.
