Hello everyone. Hubby had blood transfusion yesterday and while he almost skipped out of the hospital afterwards, he work up this morning feeling just as badly as before he had them!? What a disappointment.....

Maybe it's because he still has another one to take on Monday? I hope it will make a difference. His hemoglobin was 7.2 and platelets were up some from the last time which is good. But his appetite is all but gone; and he has absolutely no energy whatsoever..

Wednesday we hear about the brain scan results. Please hold us in your thoughts.... Thanks - Beth

Beth, the next transfusion may do the trick. Prayers & postive energy are going out for you and your husband.

Beth, I just wanted to add my encourage to you to everybody else's. Just like with antibiotics, he needs the whole dose! Praying that the next transfusion will make the difference.

God bless you,

Peggy

Hi,

I'm sure your hubby will be feeling much better after the 2nd transfusion. 7.2 is really low - no wonder he has no energy. Did they give him one or two units the first time?
