Hi my name is ronna, I was diagnosised almost exactly 1 yr ago, 5-15-02...I was going on my 4th chemo and according to my dr., my last...she had tried everything and told me this would be the last...It is the vp16, which was my very first chemo, in iv form, this time its the pills, and its seems to have had made a difference...in the past year, every month except may, ive spent more time in the hospital than out., and the past two weeks, my count has been up so as not to need any of the booster shots, i call them...I went in for a bone scan to see where we are and will get the results day after tomarrow :? Im 47 and have small-cell lung cancer.....im so glad i found this on the computer tonite.......wish me luck!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you found us too, although I am deeply sorry for your need to be here. I'm wishing you total success with this protocol and praying for the very best on your bone scan results the day after tomorrow. Welcome to a very supportive bunch of people.

Isn't it a small world my name is Rana, its pronounced Ronna, though, like Donna with an "R". Anyway, SO SORRY YOU HAVE TO BE HERE, but its a great group, the people here are SO WONDERFUL, I will be praying for you and hope you find success with the new protocol. Lots of new prayers will be said for you now that you have found this board. ITS WONDERFUL.

Welcome to this board. I am truly sorry that you have a need that brings you here, but glad you came. It is always inspiring to be able to talk to another survivor.

I want to congratulate you on your one year anniversary. And I will be praying for many many more.
