Fay A.
Hi, Just spoke with Nancy. She was released from hospital last night and is back home. She had a rough go of it last night, but it doing better today. The tumor came back with a pathology between Small Cell and Large Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. This is (I think) her third type of cancer. She had her tumor harvested for chemo sensitivity testing, thank goodness... I'm thinking that she will be checking in with us very soon. -Cheryl-
Nancy, So sorry. that is just wild to me that it would be yet a third type of cancer. Are they for sure? It sounds contained and that is good. My prayers are with you. Cheryl

chloesmom
Fay- Thank you for the update. That's testimony to keeping up with your follow-up exams, don't you think? At least this was small, and sounds optimistic for treatment........ Now that she's home, she'll really start to mend quickly.
