KatieB
Please be aware that duplicate posts will be considered advertisments and they will be deleted from the message board. It is perfectly fine to discuss the same subjects in different forums, and there are bound to be mistakes from time to time, but posts that are copied and then purposfully threaded into several forums will be deleted from now on. We're getting alot of complaints and some people who are on dial-up connections have a hard enough time navigating the site already. Also, many members here read thru each forum and each new post and finding a duplicate post in every forum is very annoying. thanks LCSC

Addie
Katie....it seems to me too, that even if people do NOT check into every forum....that most of us always check the General forum. So...if something seems important or the poster wants to make sure it reaches the most people....wouldn't the General forum be the best place to post? I am on dial up....and yes, sometimes navigation is very slow even though I regularly clean out and defrag AND this computer is only a year old with plenty of bells and whistles! Ry
So either you or Rick will delete, or should the moderator of the forum?
KatieB
If there is an inappropriate post in your forum- Moderators you will delete it. If it is a dublicate post and it doesn't belong in your forum, you will delete it. And if in doublt, and otherwise I will delete each post and leave only one original in the appropriate forum. Guest bean_si (Not Active)
Unequal power relationship in a situation where the object of such power is often vulnerable. But then the person in power may also be vulnerable. Does this make the person in charge feel less vulnerable. Is this an example of the human predisposition to form group-based social hierarchies subject to the Social Dominance Theory? Can I ever stop thinking? Can I at least stop thinking out loud? Help! I'm a thinkaholic. Darn it. Shutting up. Oh wait, that's unlikely. Darn it again. Cat
Remembering Dave
OK Beanie baby!! What came first? The Chicken, The Egg or the Road?
Guest bean_si (Not Active)
Beanie Baby! The road couldn't come first. It was made by man. The chicken couldn't come first. It had to be born. The egg came first. It was a genetic mutation from a different species of animal.
Snowflake
Chicken came first, something would have had to sit on the egg and nurture the (hehe) CHICKLET! First man wasn't born - making me ponder if Adam and Eve had bellybuttons... IF Adam and Eve had bellybuttons, then the egg came first, I guess... Guest bean_si (Not Active)
CHICKLET! Noooooo. The egg came first. The egg was a genetic mutation because once upon a time a mommy got hot for another species and as time went on, a chicken evolved from an egg whose mother was not really a chicken. Okay, now I'm confusing myself.
