Guest donna04
Joe has had nausea and vomiting every time he tries to get up and even some when he is laying quietly. This has been going on for a week and a half. We've tried ativan, then compazine. Small meals (a bite or two) after the ant-nausea pills-nothing seems to be working. Anyone fought thru this one? Guest bean_si (Not Active)
Have you tried acupuncture? I have not used it yet but have often heard it works on nausea associated with cancer. I say never underestimate the power of age old remedies. Good luck. I'll be praying for you guys and sending out good vibrations. DollyPardonMe
My husband had similar symptoms after chemo. His doctor prescribed Zofran (although expensive - about $30 per pill and thankfully covered by our health insurance plan + co-pay) it did work for him. I hope he starts feeling better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you.
mhutch1366
ZOFRAN, Zofran, Zofran, three times a day, 7 days a week, Plus prilosec (or nexium)..... Knocked the heck outta nausea. Also take atavan/lorazepam, also anti nausea and anti anxiety. I seem to have missed the worst of the symptoms you describe. Good luck. XOXOXOX MaryAnn Prayers.... bluebayou
Donna... I have tried everything under the sun, including decadron, zofran, semetil (meds) plus some food stuff such as crackers, ginger ale etc etc. I finally tried acupuncture and have never look back. Good Luck Francine
