john
I used to wonder about steroids. They are probably needed but the other side of the coin is that steroids reduce the body's immune function http://www.innovations-report.com/html/ ... 26450.html

john
Steriods help by reducing inflamation and are used I think to reduce swelling in the brain for brain mets. It can also help nausea and prevent allergic reactions. But at least some (if not all) steriods actually decrease ones immune function http://www.hci.utah.edu/patientdocs/hci ... hasone.htm
