kimblanchard
Sam, do you know anything else to get rid of thrust? I had Diflucan 200mg x 5 days and am on my second bottle of Nystatin. Still it won't go away and my appetite is going down the drain as everything taste horrible.

Sam'swifeShirley
Diflucan is the drug of choice but you can go 5-14 days. You might want to try a longer course. Itraconazole (Sporanox) oral solution 200mg (20 cc) once daily for 7 days is an alternate treatment but probably wouldn't work better. Clotrimazole trouches 5/day for 14 days is an alternate also. Good luck, it can be hard to deal with. God bless us all, Sam
kimblanchard
Thanks, I will call the Dr. for more Diflucan. This is nasty stuff. And Shellie I will try the toothpaste and mouthwash too. Anything that helps is worth the effort.
