kimblanchard
Hi, My father has now been officially diagnosed with NSCLC, squamos cell in the right lung. We are lucky that it looks like it is early stage and is a small spot in the smallest lobe of the right lung. He had a complete laryngectomy 2 years ago for laryngeal cancer but they believe this is a second primary not a metastisis. Anyway, it looks like the recommendation is a wedge resection of that lobe. We are wondering if anyone else has had lung surgery at Hopkins and who did the operation. His first surgery was there and he had a wonderful experience and incrediblel recovery. His first surgeon has recommended Dr. Stephen Yang or Dr. David Mason, both have great credentials just curious if someone has had first hand experience.
