kimblanchard
We are just back from the eye doctor and I thought this info might help someone. Shortly after starting chemo Hubby's right eye started clouding over. It cleared a bit, then clouded over again and has never cleared since. He says it is like looking through cellophane. The doctor thought it might be dry eye but thought it odd that it only affected one eye. The eye doctor says he has a cataract and asked if he had been taking steroids as part of his treatment. Yes - decadron. He said the timing might be coincidence but steroids can contribute to the development of cataracts. Treatment is eye surgery. We are not decided if we should do that.
