elnodel Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Glad to hear you're cool, cool, cool....even here in eastern Connecticut it's a godsend on those awful humid nights, of which we've had a few too many. I can't think how you could survive down your way without it. Keep cool.... Ellen Quote
pecola Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Yeah, Renee! Isn't AC grand? I know that feeling...after 5 days of no power, courtesy of Hurricane Charley, I did a serious happy dance when the power and mostly the AC came back on. So glad it is fixed! Gina Quote
Nushka Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 So glad you are more comfortable. Thank goodness for repair men when you need them Nina Quote
renee_ky Posted August 24, 2004 Author Posted August 24, 2004 Cat- You said exactly what my Father in law said. He is a snow bird, lives in Florida in our "real" winter. He was making fun of us because we were complaining it was too hot. I know, you Floridians welcome 84 degrees. We we Northerners can't take it. Quote
jamie Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Well, over here in cloudy cool Chicago, I havent had my AC on in over a month. Its been a very mild summer, so I think were in for a mighty cold Chicago bone chilling winter! Glad to hear your chillin', wish we had some of that heat here... Jamie Quote
Haylee_38 Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 We are bad here turn the AC on in April and runs non stop through Sept. Talk about an electric bill. Haylee Quote
Ann Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 79 is good! Here in Florida, I keep my thermostat set on either 78 or 79 all the time. I guess after living in Florida for a while anything seems cool!!! Anyway, glad to hear your comfort level is returning!!! Quote
