Omnitarg (pertuzumab): In the Phase II open-label trial of Omnitarg, evidence was observed of anti-tumor activity, including objective responses and durable stable disease in patients with advanced, relapsed/refractory ovarian cancer. While there was evidence of clinical benefit in the trial, the objective response rate was not adequate for an accelerated approval or pursuit of a Phase III trial for single-agent therapy in ovarian cancer at this time. Moving forward, Omnitarg will be evaluated in combination with chemotherapy in a Phase II trial in ovarian cancer.
