kim Posted September 27, 2004 Share Posted September 27, 2004 Pam, I have read what everyone has said here, and being a respiratory therapist, I see what a lot of lung ca patients go through. I believe with all my heart that honesty is best, but that doesn't mean there is no hope. Quality of life is the big thing for me. I will stand behind whatever my mom decides to do because it is her body. I will never make my mom do what she doesn't want to, it may break my heart, but it will be her call. I hate it went family members ask me how long do you think they'll last because I honestly done know, everyone is different. You and your husband will get through this together whatever the outcome.
