Guest Randy
My father just passed away from complications related to Stage 4 lung cancer. He was diagnosed at stage 4 and elected to forego any chemical or radiation therapy and came home to die with dignity under hospice care. One of his complications to the cancer, and the primary reason, why his cancer was not diagnosed earlier, were severe blood clots. He was given a prescription for a daily Lovenox 100mg/1ml injection. This medication is very expensive (I believe it's a $100 a shot), and according to the doctors is not normally covered under health plans. We have 13 injections left over from a recent prescription refill. Is there anyone under similar circumstances that could use this medication that might not be under a health plan that would pay for them? This is a no cost offer, just trying to pass something along that might be of benefit to someone in need. Please contact me at "randy@koolskins.com" as I don't usually monitor this user group.
