My mom passed away from SCLC about one year ago. After my mom finished the whole brain radiation, she was very cold. We thought that her body was so weak from all of the radiation and the chemo. Then the cancer spread to her spine, so we think that is why she felt so cold. We did not get an clear explanation. I hope everything is okay with your mom.

I have just joined today. My mom died of lung cancer 1 year ago - Feb. 5. She was only 57 year's old. It has not been easy for me. I couldn't picture my life without her and now she is gone. She was my best friend. We talked at least 3 times a day and saw each other every week. I still reach for the phone to call her and I get so angry when I can't hear her voice. Does it get any easier? I still wake up every morning thinking that it was just a bad dream.

I feel for you. I lost my mom to lung cancer about a year ago. She was my best friend. Just don't let the doctor's give up on her. Try to find a clinical trial. Go to several oncologists to see what they think. Did you call Sloan Kettering in New York?
I wish you and your mom the best of luck.
