  3. Dear Lori,

Just know that she (Your Mama) knows what a kind good caring soul you truly are! SF is ill mannered and lacks the caring, compassion, wisdom, and kindness that makes you who you are -- the best Advocate Your Mother Could Have! You can and will get through this we know it isn't easy but you are far stronger than you had ever thought and your Mom needs you forever in her corner! Do the best you can to keep it together -- whatever it takes even if you need a break call her friends or just get out in the sunlight for a fresh look at things!

You can do this with all the grace and dignity you have shown thorughout this entire journey. Stay strong and don't be bullied. God Bless you, your family, and your Mom!

    Take Good Care,

    Botley & Mother

  4. Dear Bill,

You and your dear wife in our thoughts and prayers! I like you believe that many many (most) if not all the R&D is for maintaining a chronic condition! Hopefully one day someone will solve the mystery for the greater good of us all! For now take good care of yourself and your wife she is - so so lucky to have you in her corner.

You are in our thougths and prayers!

  8. Dear Jen,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most stressful time. Perhaps, new eyes will offer a different perspective. I know that with my Mother it has been very complicated and was overwhelming for her new Oncologist after her original decided to retire. There are so many variables that it can be puzzling even for the best of Dr.'s. Obviously, you are a strong strong person and hopefully you can bare another opinion or new dr. if this is the path you choose. No matter what, you are in our thoughts and prayers for some good news and relief soon.

    Take Care,

    Botley & Mother

  9. Dear Pat,

Hope you are doing a little better! I think Brian's Mom does have a UTI. This is exactly what it does (incontinent & odor & confusion)to a person as my Grandmother had a horrible one. Be sure and watch her temperature because they can spike horribly with these infections. Perhaps the Dr. can just prescribe a good Sulpha Drug (pretty sure this is the type of antibiotic you will need for her) and it may take more than one round. S00000000, sorry that you are having to deal with so much of this alone! This is never easy and having two people not feeling well is a true test! You are in our thoughts and prayers please remember to take care of yourself as well.

    Sincerely,

    Botley & Mother

  10. Dear Fay,

Glad to hear you are ok but wished you wouldn't have fallen that is so hard on a person especially after surgery. Mom has some problems some times too (with falling) but has a helios liquid oxygen tank that she wears around this is easy because it just straps on her like a belt with a 4 foot cord. Just an idea as we don't want any more falls. This generally last 7 to 8 hours for her.

Hope you are feeling better and take it easy.

    Sincerely,

    Botley & Mother

    Ada

    Dear Jim,

It will probably never be easy without Ada. Mom and I admired her strength, compassion, and caring whenever we would read her post. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are very happy to see you post.

    Take Good Care,

    Botley & Mother
