  1. Phyllis, Thanks for the informative post. What kind of program or facility are you using that you're on experimental drugs. I'm currently on Iressa looking at alternative venues. Thanks and God Bless, Dave W

  2. Betty, Welcome. I would hope I'm not the only person on this message board to tell you, you've been blessed with 9 months to live. I do not know my fate or yours. But, I do know what time is left for me is a blessing and I chose to live and fight. Please seek a second opinion and look for the reason we're still here. If you find out what that is, let me know. ha ha

    God Bless, David W

  3. Chemo has failed me. Tonight I start Iressa. Hoping to gain some time while looking for more opinions, trials or studies. Never asked this before but, could I get a prayer. Thank you all for your spirit and compassion.

    May God Bless, Dave W

  4. Thanks you guys! On Wed. another CT will tell my new onc what if any change has taken place to the primary. Just praying meanwhile you guys are right. Still rather burn out than fade away. Thank you each and God Bless, Dave W

  5. I've had one round of gemzar/navelbine(once/week for three weeks) and in that amount of time have developed a 2x2 cm tumor on my adrenal gland. Found it during a CT scan looking for causes of abdominal distress that i've had since the last chemo. I'm trying not to bum too heavy.

Trying to think how this the best for me. Maybe this will give my onc. reason to question previous treatment. Anybody see any reason for optimism?.....................seems like down to me. God Bless, Dave W.

  6. Thanks for the great input! Vinorelbine's side effects are tolerable but,the vein used on thurs. turned red on Fri. and is still swollen and hot today, sun. Just a little fyi. Thanks again and May God Bless, Dave W.

  7. Gemzar/vinorelbine? Has any one had any positve results using this combo? Switched chemo one week ago today looking for tumor reduction prior to surgery. Survived two months on Carbo/Taxol with no measurable change to the primary and I'm thankful for the blessing. Side effects seem to be tolerable( to me), but I have never seen any reference to Vinorelbine. Any help? May God Bless, Dave W.
