WEll he was lucky to discover LC stage one . THe resectiojn went great nothing found in the nodes clean he died 10 days later, at the best cancer care hospital in the world, sounds normal?
Not at all to us yet some say it happens everyday. To our suprise there're right. The icu's are full of patients not passing on from cancer yet ......hospital acquired pnuemonia or community pnuemonia only found in the hallways of all hospitals.
My advise limit the exposure of guests, get your loved one private care and get home soon. As we all want our loved ones to have the pleasure of guests ,remember they will be home soon. After a resection wait a few days and let them get strong and build their immune system to full strength.THen party at home.
Keep on top of the help . Don't take anything for granted.
Thanks for listening. To help my kids cope with the loss I wrote a book for them if you want a free copy..email me at nylivin@aol.com[/b]

When we lost my dad stage 1a cancer, don't ask ,the after care killed him.WE were left speechless he was supposed to be in Florida with mom ,the kids are also lost w/o this great man. So I wrote a short intertactive book to fill in. The book references the times they spent together along with the opportunity to write what they feel.It helped my daughter to produce a cry she had trouble with the first few months of his death. She smiled ear to ear after she cried and was glad she expressed herself. If you want a copy(free of course), nylivin@aol.com it will be my pleasure to bring some comfort to you. My name is Robert
