hello jen.....had nuelasta and still getting them. just a bit of bone pain and yes a tylonol will take care of it. dave procrit is for red count i believe...i get that too. nuelasta is white count. you only need one nuelasta as apossed to 6 or so nuprogen.

hello, i am also sorry to here of your mom's condition. i totally agree with all the above members opinoins,,,,get another dr who will be on your side,,,not a negative one,,,,,also tell your mom to put on the shoulder pads, strap on the helmet, and pop in the mouth piece and get ready to do some down right nasty fighting in the trenches!!!!! do not give up,,,always is hope!!!!!

hi tbone...as far as my chemo is going i have had really no problems. i was scared to at what it may do, but bout the only thing with me is a little tired..not the type of tired that i gotta put my head down and go to sleep, just the type that , well i am not gonna have the energy to run a mile....i say try it...

hello..........i also get scaned every 2 cycles....the dr wants to make sure chemo is working. after my first 2 rounds i had a major shrinkage but after the next two it was not significant shrinkage..so dr changed one drug. he probably does not want to waste any rounds of chemo on you like mine does not want to.

hello.... yes therev are more treatments. i had the same as your father...5 rounds....was not working as good as it should have,,,,was changed to cpt 11 and cisplatin......and yes there are other driugs that they will use....i had no break betwwen the vp-16 and the cpt 11.
