gerbil runner Posted April 28, 2005 Share Posted April 28, 2005 Mom went in for her scans today, and...the brain mets are much much smaller, and no evidence of cancer anywhere else! So, what's going on? It looks like adrenal insufficiency, caused by steroid withdrawal, and possibly complicated by the horrible cold Mom had a week and a half ago. If so, it's very treatable and Mom should feel much better in a couple of days. I'm waiting to hear from Dad as to the final results, but Mom will be home tonight.
