Guest
FOLLOW UP AFTER RADIATION TREATMENTS My dear friends: I want to share with you the good news from my doctor. After 2 weeks of finishing the radiation treatments, I wet to see the doctor. He said that I'm getting better, because the pain is almost totally gone. He wants to wait with the chemo, and he ordered Xrays in my right tight and knee, because I'm having this different pain. On top of everything I got shingles in my right side and the doctor thinks that is what is causing the pain, he gave me medication that I will start taking today. ALso I would like to know if anybody had experienced with ZOMETA, the first 2 times I got it, I had no side effects at all; but today I had a horrible day, and I assume that after the radiation, this inyection maybe was to much for my body to handle. In general, I'm very gratefull to God and to the prayers from all the nice people in this board. God Bless all of us Hugs Carmen
Don Wood
Carmen, thanks for your update. My wife has been on Zometa since last June and is doing fine with it. She was not taking radiation with it, though, as she was finished with that treatment. Best to you. Don
