  1. When i was first diagnosed they said it was at a curable stage and then the results after surgery showed clear borders but some lymph nodes showed positive so then chemo followed so im thinking because i was clear in my ct scans from neck to pelvis that there was no new growths from the lymph nodes but like everyone its an anxious time till next scan Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  2. Ive recently had ct scans done and no sign of cancer which im totally thrilled about but im scheduled for my next scan in 6 months time but just wondering if you all wait 6 months for your next recurrence scan after getting the all clear ? Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  3. Brenda its good to hear that your ordeal is behind you now and the only way to go is up from here Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  4. Thankyou Lauren and brenda and im so thankful to be part of this community because its full of positive feedback and it gives you hope during the treatment and on an emotional point of view thats so important and only people going through this can truly understand the under spoken fear we live with each day so its great to have somewhere to go to get some hope and courage .. 5. Debbie65 ...i had my left lower lobe removed in jan this year and have finished 4 rounds of chemo and have just recently had my ct scan results which showed i have NO cancer anywhere but i do have some fluid where the lobe once was but the oncologist said thats normal to get some fluid there and if it doesnt cause any symptoms then leave it alone and the symptoms would be shortness of breathe and some pain from the pressure of the fluid and a cough so im wondering if this could be your problem ? And they can drain fluid away if its causing you discomfort Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

  12. That was meant to say Couldnt Sleep on my sides for first 2 weeks and a lot of people say using a wedge pillow helps breathing and comfort so maybe get one before surgery Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  13. I had my lower left lung removed with incision the size of yours and i was in hospital for 5 days with a drainage tube for 4 of those days and the pain isnt fun but with regular pain relief it was not too bad and once at home i could sleep on my sides because that hurt for about 2 weeks but after that it was tolerable to sleep either side and i kept up with a ventolin puffer and the breathing was easier but havent needed it since those first two weeks and that was back in january this year so i hope your recovery goes as well for you ...stay positive ..
