  3. Introduction and no news yet

Welcome here sherryz and we have all been in your shoes so understand how you feel and theres a lot of long term survivors on here so when you know what you have and a treatment plan others will chip in and give some advice and support as i got when i joined and im now NED which means no evidence of disease and you can be too ... 4. Introducing myself

Hi i was a 17 yrs of not smoking 61 yr old and i also had no symptoms and mine adenocarcinoma was picked up during a scan that was checking for any recurrence of a sarcoma cancer that id had 5 yrs ago and i had the left bottom lobe taken and a wedge of another nodule followed by 4 months of chemo because 7 out of 20 lymph nodes were positive ...ive had scans done on completion of the chemo and all is clear and next scans booked for 6 months time so hang in there because we are survivors and can and do get through it Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  5. Future scans

When i was first diagnosed they said it was at a curable stage and then the results after surgery showed clear borders but some lymph nodes showed positive so then chemo followed so im thinking because i was clear in my ct scans from neck to pelvis that there was no new growths from the lymph nodes but like everyone its an anxious time till next scan Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
  6. Future scans

Ive recently had ct scans done and no sign of cancer which im totally thrilled about but im scheduled for my next scan in 6 months time but just wondering if you all wait 6 months for your next recurrence scan after getting the all clear ? Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

  8. Ct scan results

Thankyou Lauren and brenda and im so thankful to be part of this community because its full of positive feedback and it gives you hope during the treatment and on an emotional point of view thats so important and only people going through this can truly understand the under spoken fear we live with each day so its great to have somewhere to go to get some hope and courage .. 9. Right Lower Lobectomy

Debbie65 ...i had my left lower lobe removed in jan this year and have finished 4 rounds of chemo and have just recently had my ct scan results which showed i have NO cancer anywhere but i do have some fluid where the lobe once was but the oncologist said thats normal to get some fluid there and if it doesnt cause any symptoms then leave it alone and the symptoms would be shortness of breathe and some pain from the pressure of the fluid and a cough so im wondering if this could be your problem ? And they can drain fluid away if its causing you discomfort Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
