I am not grammatically correct in any way, as you will see when you attempt to read entries try not to judge me too harshly. My name is Vivian Gail, on January 2, 2019, I was, diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell lung Cancer. Since the 22nd of December 2018, I have been hospitalized twice. First time for blood infection and pneumonia. Second time was for PE blood clots and more fluids build up in my lungs.
I'm shocked, overwhelmed ,afraid, angry, ashamed, confused, and those are just a few of the wayfeeling I'm working with at this very moment... I was told by a dear friend that I need to reach out to others whom are dealing with the same issues as I am.. That this would be helpful to myself and many others. So this is my attempt...... I just had a round of chemo on 3/11/19. I'm still down from it. 🤒😷🤕. All going well until Wednesday, no, appetite wasn't, keeping any food down and had a low grade temp. Fatigued, no energy. Felt like I was falling apart... That continued off and on for 8 days. I'm still having trouble eating and keeping some foods down. But did feel like I was getting some of my energy back. I'm receiving Carboplaitin and Premetrexed chemo once every 21 days.. I am scheduled for a CT scan next Tuesday. Hope some tumors have shrank.
So if you have some helpful advice, I'd be happy to hear it because I don't want to be lost forever.
