Hi Everyone,
My mom was diagnosed in December with Stage IV NSCLC with mets to the liver. 3 weeks ago she was admitted to the hospital with pleural effusion that turned out to be malignant. There was an incredible amount of fluid that it had collapsed her left lung. Her current treatment is Tagrisso which she has only been on since January 20th and her most recent CT seems to show that the disease is becoming more progressive although I am waiting for our appointment in 2 days with the oncologist to confirm this?
Has anyone used Tagrisso and if so how long does it take to show if it is working? Do you think that we should explore other options?
