  1. Welcome & sorry. I am still quite new. My father too was diagnosed with NSLC this year in June. Luckily I only lived 20 miles from him and in the beginning could come and go quite alot - its so much to take in and understand and I think crying is all part and parcel of it. I have since moved home to help him and my mother. All i can say is at the m,oment I am still very upset and haven't found that it gets much better but you have to forget about that, stop worrying about you and how this has made you feel and put all your energy into helping him get better and making him happy and as comfortable as possible. Also keep positive no matter what stay positive!

    nourishment ??

Don't know if it works but apparantly Royal Jelly is good to boost energy levels. Bought some for daddy but he doesn't believe in supplements so can't say if it works.

Thanks for all the welcome, it actually makes a big difference and puts a smile on my face. I am from England - so some funny dates and spellings I am sure! I am very interested in alternative therapy or actually to learn about any therapy. I posted a msg on the alternative therapy board which is a link to website that I has a wealth of knowledge but too much info is sometimes confusing. Here's the link anyway http://www.cancertutor.com Thanks again for the warm welcome
  4. Also think that this is a useful website along the same lines http://www.cancertutor.com. However I did recently come across a website that happened to sell exactly the same products as listed in the cancer-prevention website. Sorry just a bit cynical...nice that the information is there though and availbale rather than following some hopeful prompt to be told that if you spend laods a money you will recive the secrets to beating cancer or be able to find out the traetment that could save you.

Sorry for being so ignorant didn't realise thats what was meant by a "signature". Chemo seems to have done my father a lot of damage thats why I am interested in ANY treatment that is available for this horrible illness. I will never trade one treatment for the other just wanted to know about all the options, there is so much crap on the net that you don't really know whats good, bad or ugly! Anyway just want to say thanks for the welcome and I have now filled in my signature - thanks Connie and congrats!
  6. Does anyone know anything about it? or have any success stories regarding alternative therapies Thanks Ayla
  7. Hello all, I am happy to find this site as are many others but very sad to be here. My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 NSCLC spread to the adrenal glands at the end of June this year. He has gone through one bout of Chemo - seems to have been unsucessful indication given by his suffering from hypercalcium. We are going to see the oncologist easrly December for a follow up appointment and further scans. I guess I am interested in alternative therapies and would be obliged for any information. I hope and pray for the best for all of us Ayla
