    I haven't dealt with this but being a mother...I know how much those things mean to me.

    Maybe you could gather some of the memorabilia up and make a scrapbook with pictures of you, your mom and family...I'm sure some day when you have kids you can show this to them.

    There are even scrapbooking stores that have people that would do it for you....if you're not the creative type...could be therapeutic for you if you did it yourself.

    My kids love seeing anything about me (or their family)as a kid, etc...this way your mother and children will be connected through you.

    Sorry about your terrible loss... I can't even imagine...

    Thanks for all the prayers...I feel them....the biopsy was pretty invasive. They went thru his chest wall, through his rib cage and into his right lung. They took out a sample of his lung. Yuk...painful....

    Xray findings Help Needed

    Hi Barb,

    We also had 2 Dr's tell us my husband had one yr to 18 months to live. Then we go to UCLA (third opinion) and they are saying it may not be cancer....

    All this to say....get another opinion...especially if someone is telling you "you will die"....

    Who are they to know that....

    I will keep you in my prayers...healing energy...and peace sent your way...

    Godfrey had his biopsy on 11/22/06...we are anxiously waiting for the results...

    Please keep us in your prayers....

    The waiting is hard...deep down I'm scared to death that they will come back and say the original dx was correct...

    But I am holding out for hope...that UCLA is correct and this is not stage IV nsclc.

    So glad you posted....I will be praying for you and your daughters...

    So sorry to hear about your husband. No it's not fair.

    One moment at a time....breathe...and then the next moment....breathe....and then the next...sometimes that is all you can do...until you can do more....

    We are here for you....

    Keep posting and talking about it....

    I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mom... :(

    I will keep you in my prayers....

    The love in the pocket story brought tears to my eyes and heart...what a lovely mom she was....and still is....in your heart and your memories.... :lol:
