Bone scan showed no bone mets!!! That is a biggie. May have a chance for surgery yet. One more round of chemo .

Anyone actually have the procedure done?? Living in Hawaii on a island i am kind of strarved for information. We only have one oncologist on the island and he is leaving!!! Not much help there as his expreience is limited. Jim

Just wondered about others experinece taking chemo breaks. How long did you take them and if there was much progression of cancer when you did. How long does chemo keep working afrter infusion anyway??? I have been onthe standard taxotere/carboplatin mix for a total of 13 cycles. Once a week for 8 weeks during radiation 5 cycles every 3 weeks. Next one 14 days away Dr. has not mentioned a break yet but I am ready!!! The side effects are getting very severe. Jim

Does anyone have any experience with Radio Frequency Ablation??? I am looking into this as an alternativefor surgery. Jim

I just found this site and the forum. It looks like a wealth of information. I am sorting it out but am grateful for a site with so much information and experience. I will need it. I was Dx with NSCLC in October of 2006. I will post all the details in my profile shorty but thanks for being there all of you.
