[Transfer Factor-any one heard of this....]

A friend of mine e mailed me from Pennsylvania telling me that they were selling a product called Transfer Factor that is a super immune booster.

[Stress we know is not healthy]

I've read that stress as long as it does not dominate us can be healthy.But of course we do not need it often "right".Optomist get sick too,but also from what i've read are in general healthier.

In the biblical passages i wrote about their is also a verse that say's worry will make us sick,and now after over 2,000 year's our Modern upto date medical profession is now talking about it..HMmmmmmmm..

My advise is keep the Faith with Hope and prayer ...

From the Book of SIRACH Chapter 38 verses 1. thru 23.Here is a couple of quotes or verses.Verse 4- GOD makes the earth yield healing herb's which the prudent man should not neglect.Verse 9- My son ,when you are ill,delay not,but pray to GOD,who will heal you.Verse 12-then give the Doctor his place lest he leave;for you need him too.

[Cancer patients pray, use herbs, but quietly]

I for one could never imagine with Cancer how one could or would ignore prayer.I realize there will be those that will blame GOD or be angry at GOD for there situation.

For my wife and i we had not attended MASS except during Christmas for over 30 year's.So sadly we neglected our children's spiritual need's.Fortunately we must have done some thing's right as they spiritually are doing better.

Once my wife was DXed with sclc 4 we both realized that life was only temporary but eternatey is for ever and we both openly admit that returning to the Church and being in a relationship with GOD was what had been truly missing in our lives.We have prayed for GOD's hand in Guiding our doctor's and our live's.And of course we never leave the saint for hopeless causes ST.Jude out of our live's and trust in his intercession's and the love and caring of our Blessed Mother.

And as to herb's and Vitamins one should consult with there physician's to be sure your not taking anything that could counter act treatment's,as you would i think want them to compliment each other.

Wow what great and well informed replies to my posting.I'm in total agreement with all of you,my main intention was not to uphold Quack Watch as the final word on all this but to suggest that if some one was thinking of giving up there current medical treatment to be sure as to not be taken in by some evil greedy person or group who is interested only in there money or as in my late brother inlaw's case a well meaning group of people who just i'm sure were positive they had the cure.

I recieve numerous health letter's and had recently in a Bottom line letter read that the Chinese medical Establishment in Cancer had been using standard normal treatment for Cancer along with using the herb Astralgulas and claiming that in there double blind test the one's not recieving the herb were still the same statiscally but the one's recieving the herb had a 2 to 1 survival over the non recipient's.

So i researched and so far what i've learned is Astralgulas does indeed enhance the T-cell's or Killer Cell's and seem's to help Chemo recipient's tolerate or in so many word's make the after effect's less harsh.The reccomended dosage is 2,000 mg daily for optiman effect.Wife took the bottle of the Herb to her ONC and he told her he had no problem with her taking it,and so far since starting it and she has only been taking 500mg aday she seem's to be handling at least this time her second round much better.

Here are the improvement's i've noticed,only laid around for 3 day's and got her appetite back right away.Also seem's more alive with some improvement in energy.And she has not this time gotten the cold chill's she had last time.

Now one last comment and this is about logging on.I've noticed i can log on in the morning's but can not for the rest of the day.Rick seem's to think it's my computer in which he probaly is correct as i am a computer illiterate,my computer is a e-machine 2.6 ghz with dial up on aol..

This is my first time posting on this page or subject.after reading many of the post may i offer this suggestion.

For many of those who are looking at treating there Cancer differently please go to WWW.Quackwatch.com.

I too believe in using herb's and food as a pardner in standard cancer treatment and have noticed that some of the Doctor's are in agreement to the idea.But there are Unscruptious people out there that play on our desperation and fear's for of course the money.

back in 1973 my brotherinlaw was convinced if he used a certain herbal concoction for his cancer that it would cure him.These were people from his church and they sincerly believed what they said.Any way they brewed up the concoction and brought it to him regurally and he stopped his radiation and all medical treatment's and this was at a earlt stage of his cancer.And sadly he died 2 year's later from his cancer.

Just thought i would share this enfo so that in hope's we can all make better decision's.

Here's praying for all good and positive sign's.....My wife has first ct since starting treatment this friday 6-11-04 .....I'm having trouble getting logged in most of the time and contacted Rick and he seem's to think it's my computer,i have a e-machine and window's xp on dial up so if any one has any thought's on this i'd be interested in hearing them.....

[Anthrax for lung Cancer treatment?????]

Hope this info is interesting to you all.The NIH has been testing a weakened form of Anthrax that is proving to be very effective on mice that is killing the tumors and after one treatment the toxin has reduced the tumor's by 65%-92% depending on tumor type.They say it is very effective for Lung Cancer also in testing.

They do how ever state it will be year's of testing before it is rejected or excepted.I got this info out of a new bottom line book i just recieved.Also in a bottom line health letter the Chinese Medical people are claiming that Cancer patient's recieving standard treatment along with the herb Astragulus are having 2 times survival over standard treatment,but they did not say what form or how much of the herb was being administered.

My Wife has now completed 2 three day treatment's every 21 day's of cisplatin/vp16 and is so far doing real well as far as how she's feeling.Most of the time one would never suspect she is recieving Chemo except for the loss of hair and the 2 - 3 day's after the third day of chemo when she want's to sleep.

We will see how much energy she has this weekend as our oldest son (a green Beret) just got back from Iraq and he with his family are coming down for the weekend.Were all excited to see him home safely and knowing he served well over there as he was awarded 2 bronze medal's for valour.

Hi Addie and here's hoping all goes well for you and your treatment's. My wife just finished her second round of cisplatin/vp16 with 3 day's in a row every 21 day's.She is doing much better this time than from the 1st round.I'd like to say it was our battle plan to eat healthy and alot when she felt like it.She has lost a lot of hair and goes through 2-3 day's of total listlessness and sleeping.and her strenght is not to bad either in fact she locked the car key's in the car and walked a mile home to get the spare's.She has not experienced the nausea but has had the metalic taste in her mouth.It look's like everyone has different variation's on how it effect's them.As for the cancer spreading that i can't answer as once again every body is different.God bless and fight the good fight as were all pulling for you.
