Ada . . . how are you?

Recommended Posts

Hi Steve,

I am so glad to hear that my note helped you. Your words also mean a lot to me. I wish I could have talked to someone with lung cancer when I was first diagnosed. My doctors were so negative in the beginning, that I sunk very low mentally. I cried for the first 6 months after being diagnosed. Eventually, I found this board and started realizing that there were actually survivors out there! Their stories gave me hope and that made all the difference.

Cancer is so isolating. It's important to have the support of loving family and friends and also very important to be in touch with others going through the same thing.

Please let me know how you are doing. I will be thinking of you.
