Calcium Levels

My husband age 53 was diagnosed this past August with stage 4 mets to liver. His calcium levels are always high, leads to dehydration and then the hospital. He is in there now and we are not really getting any answers on how to make this better so that this man can come home and feel somewhat ok. Has anyone ever experienced this. His bone scans were negative and his stomach scan was negative, his liver is enlarged but they are pretty sure it is from the mets. They seem to know what is wrong but cannot make it right. he is not on any chemo now because he is not strong enough to receive. Would appreciate any comments. Thank You Janet
