sangeeta091 Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Attention Family Members of Lung Cancer Patients - Research Study (Fox Chase Cancer Center): Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking family members of lung cancer patients to volunteer for a research study. To be eligible to take part, family members must be 18 years or older and smoke at least 10 cigarettes per day. We will assess health risks, such as smoking, and suggest ways to improve health. We would provide a free lung cancer risk assessment, one free smoking counseling session, free self-help materials, and can offer referrals to get medications and additional counseling to help with quitting smoking. Participants do not have to be local to Fox Chase or quit smoking during the study.
