Lung cancer takes more lives in the United States than breast, prostate, colon and pancreatic cancers combined. With the National Urban League’s endorsement of the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act, the first-ever federal legislation to fund a thorough, multi-agency plan to target at lung cancer, a future without the threat of lung cancer is looking a little more possible.
