Guest DeeHee Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Is it common to remove some full and/or partial ribs during lung surgery? Also have compression fractures of 2 thorasic vertebra. Discovered in MRI, not told by surgeon. How do I get past the pain of surgery 5+ mo. ago? Heal by itself? What fills in where rib was located? Weight of chest pulling on muscles. Would physical therapy help or hurt? Breast reduction? Scary thought after bad lung surgery. (Also have numb toes from Taxil ?...but at least that's just strange. Anyone else have that?)
