    So as many of you know my mom is a 6 year cancer survivor... my dad has lung nodules that they are watching... well.... My grandma has had a CT scan of her chest and abdomen to see if they can figure out why she has been losing so much weight and low and behold there is a spot on her left lower lung :evil: My grandma is in her late 70's and has COPD and emphysema.

    I am asking for prayers and positive vibes as we await an appointment with a pulmonologist.

    6 years ago today we thought the world was coming to an end... 6 years ago my mom was dx with lung cancer... 6yrs later.... she is cancer free and doing well....

    Good morning! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile. I would like to say it will be changing and I will be back on more.... but this new single mom stuff and demands of work are preventing me from it. I must say I miss all of you and pray for you daily....

    Well I dont know the high temperature today but I can guarantee you it will be raining :cry:

    I haven't posted much because I feel saddened by alot of the new on the board lately. I do say a special prayer for patients and families here. I pray for each and everyone of us that are going through this battle that there WILL be a cure and there WILL be one soon...

    I have decided that despite all the sad news going around I will post some good news. It was a hard decision to do so and here it is.....

    My mom just celebrated her 51st birthday on Saturday. In November it will be 6 years since diagnosis and in May will be 6 years since treatment. I thank God everyday that she is still here.

    WOW Judy sounds like quiet the day. Isn't the government awesome? :shock: Anyways... I am really happy its Friday another 59 hour work week for me.. I am tired.. The sun is shining and only 5 hours til freedom...

    Overdue update...

    Well my mom is doing great. Nothing new with her :D Other than her and my dad have turned to drinking and drinking alot... it is sad to see, but if that is the way they want to live who am I to say anything?

    Well my dad has had a lingering cough since before Thanksgiving. I found out yesterday that his latest CT scan showed 2 lung nodules. One which is unchanged from his April scan and then he has a new one.... of course they dont offer information and they dont talk about it. I guess he is being re-scanned in 3 months.

    Certainly praying that its nothing and that we dont have to embark on this journey again.

    Good morning all! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I think our high today is upper 70's finally we have some wonderful warm weather. Had a great time this weekend camping at the Oregon coast. First time I have been there and actually had warm weather and obtained a sunburn from the coast. The beach was magnificant and the fireworks we did on the beach were just awesome. The kids had fun catching hermet crabs and clamming (all small clams) but it was just great to get out and finally get a break from reality :D Well with only two hours sleep last night, I am praying my day passes smoothly and painless for it being a Manic Monday :roll:

    I have not been on here much, but will try to be around a bit more. Off to read all the posts I have missed this last week.

    Good morning. I am so jealous of everyones heat. Today first day of summer we have a high of 65 and a chance of rain :roll: I really think I need to move somewhere else.... :wink:

    Anyways not much going on here today just work and kids work and kids oh and did I mention work and kids???

    Hope your English is just fine. I am so sorry about your dad. It has been awhile since my mom had her chemo and I think the length and amount of chemo varies from person to person as well as the side effects. I am sure more people will chime in here and offer some fanatstic advice. I am sure it has to be hard to be so far away from you parents during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Good afternoon all, I dont have an interesting tid bit today :( Work has been CRAZY busy and stressing me out! Judy in KW my husband, dad and two brothers work for the train we took a beautiful ride through the gorge here in Oregon on a train and we were treated fantastic and it was jut amazing. Not sure I would ride just the Amtrack though lol.
