  1. What a story. My heart aches for you. It does sound like even though your sister made some effort to rebell her life was dominated by this repulsive man.

A similar story occurs in our family.

And the similar emotion of helplessness.

Throw in her death, blind and alone in the nursing home...and we'd almost have the same post.

But love and understanding does heal us...your post gives hope for that.

Take care and thanks for telling this story.'

    Much love,

    Eppie

  2. I say save his life first...then wear a hearing aide with his grandbaby on his lap.

    First things first.

(I have been there and done this too...or my dad did. It upset us lots that he lost his hearing and then when the nurse said the words above...it sort of put it in perspective)

    Much love,

    eppie

  3. Happy Birthday to your son.

We all must remember to enjoy life's pleasures.

May they all taste as sweet as birthday cake. (my favorite dessert btw)

  4. Poopy drawer?

Sorry you received such shi##y news, Bill.

I love how when life throws nasty scans results at you, you throw back jokes.

Like my dad always said, "I never met a mirror I didn;t love". I can tell how much you love yourself and your life. You are FINE! And that is not denial. That;s the troof!

I agree with Trish. Bad news shouldn't go to Hot Guys like you or Darrell or ever sexxy chicks like Myrnalou and Joanie.

But we have each other here. Bill, you are fighter and a lover.

    WE'll get through this.

    Much love,

    Eppie

  5. 1. Name the one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends.

    Lettuces? Rhubarb

    4. What fruit has its seeds on the outside? strawberries

    5. In many liquor stores, you can buy pear brandy, with a real pear inside the bottle. The pear is whole and ripe, and the bottle is genuine; it hasn't been cut in any way. How did the pear get inside the bottle?

They make the two halves of the bottle separately. They toss the pear into the bottom half and put the second half on, thus sealing it in the bottle.

    OR

They put the pear in the bottle before they make the neck smaller on the bottle.

Either way, it has to do with the production of the glass bottle rather than shoving the pear in the neck of the bottle.

  6. You crack me Up!!!

I think that this is a very good acheivable goal for you but somehow I think you might get in trouble for doping or having a spare cooler to add to your bouyancy. Just saying....Hell, I will come and float along for morale support.

This is great news all around for our surviviors, Kasey, Cindy, Geri and Connie.

  7. I am Eppie because my nephew (as the first grandchild in our family has the oportunity to rename everyone) could not say "Stephanie".

I love my nickname and love that I am known as Eppie by those I love so very much.

I love that ya'll know me as Eppie!

It is also very easy to type...since I am a horrible typist.
