Hi,I finish 2 weeks ago with my 1st. round of chemo, still going with radiation every day until the 20th. when I will start my 2nd. round.

I don't know if is normal but I don't feel bad side efects. I still having hair, is going little by little but I feel pretty good. I am scarred that the treatment is not killing this monster. Thanks for listen to me. Tkanks

Dear Lilly, is the best thing that you ccan do. Get it over. I was really scarred about chemo & just pass my firstcycle without a problem. They told me that I will losse my hair, not yet....but think it will grow again.

Surviving in Greensboro. 3 & 1/2 clean. Recurrense 1 month ago. Start chemo & radiation. Feeling preety good, but can not belive that is back.

Hi,I am Bucky Alexan mom. They tod me yesterday after the biopsy that is the same cancer that had return.

How many of you had a recurrence. The Drs. are really positive but I am so scared & depress. I never spect for him to came back even when he was always in my mind.

Hello. My mother was diagnosed with Non small cell lung cancer stage 1B three 1/2 years ago. They did surgery and that was the only form of treatment. For the last three years all of the scans have showed up with no signs of reoccurence. Then two weeks ago, the scan showed three enlarged lymph nodes and nodules in the pleural.

She has gone back for two more scans and an MRI. All coming back with the same results.

She is going for a second opinion tomorrow at Duke. She also has a biopsy with an attempt to remove all the lumph nodes.

What I would like to know is if anybody has gone through this and what to expect. When i read about reoccurence, it is very negative.

Will my mother be able to live a normal life after this.

Any advice will be great!
