I need to hear this today. I have been depressed today about my hair. I know I'm alive but I saw an old picture with my long hair and I started to cry. I have never done that before. Between Colleen and Rainy sounds just like me. My top has hardly any hair and the sides are very thin and the back spot is thick we call it Howie Mandel. haha I hate that we all have to deal with this but I needed to hear this today. My lashes and brows still are not growing good. I like my hair when it came after Chemo it was thick like it use to just a different color.

I went for my Chest CT last month and everything came back good. Last week I got my results from my MRI from the head and it is clean. Doctors are saying to wait 4 months for the Chest CT and 6 months for MRI unless something comes up. I hope that is not to long. I feel better each week and getting more energy. Thank you for being here.

Stay strong Pat. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ken,
I am sorry you have to go through this. I also had the same issues. Nothing helped, I tried the patch also but it made me sick. I had to take radiation a week off before I finished my last 10 days of radiation. I lived on Chicken and Noodles only Campbells homestyle only for 3 months. I wish I could give you some advise. Stay strong, I will pray for you.

I am glad you found the board. This is a great group here. I went through before diagnosis just like you. It took about 2 months before I was sent to get a ct scan. I couldn't tell you how many antibiotics. Again welcome!

I agree with Mary about deminishing WBR. Even with my symptyms and everything I still would have done WBR. I will do whatever I need to do like most of us.

I was staged IIIb also. I received chemo and radiation. Finished chemo and radiation in March and May 29 I had my left lung removed. He said it was the most hardest lung removed for him because of the scar tissue. I had already decided if some will take my lung I was going to do it. I stayed in the hospital for 6 days and it really was not that bad for me. I was in the mall 2 days after I left the hospital. I did have my oxygen but oh well. I am doing pretty good. My strength is not were I want to be but I will get my strength back one day. Keep us posted and ask any questions.
