This does suck!!! I thought the same thing with me. After finishing my Chemo in Mar 29, then had my left lung removed on May 29 and thought we were cancer free. Well in August found out I had a brain met. Did the radiation, steroids that I HATE and then was very lucky and was to have the brain tumor removed 3 weeks ago. I sound pretty much exactly Liz did with WBR and I did have the ringing also Pup but it does get better. We have to fight. I never feel like I am losing the battle I will always be kicking the "CANCERS" A**. I will keep you in my thoughts.

When does the hair grow back after WBR? It will be in 3 months on Dec. 18. After chemo it started growing back after 2 months. How long did it take your hair to grow after WBR?

As soon as I had a buzz the scarfs went off. Then I bleached my hair. Have fun with it!!! You are a beautiful person and don't worry about what people say. It was great for 4 months before I was bald again. This time when my hair decides to grow I am going to try a brunette with some highlights. We will see. I say take it off it's worth it. Wigs SUCK!

Hey Creekgirl,

I wish you luck and many prayers during your surgery. I also hope you have just as easy as a surgery as mine. Everything went real smooth during the surgery, stayed in ICU about 6 days (I think it was so I still get the good treatment because the nurses were a little scarce on the recovery floor.) I had my left lung removed and went to Home Depot the day after I was released with my take in hand walking slowly. I know not everyone can be that one but that was easier then this WBR effects. Give me the surgery anyday. Anyways you will do great don't worry about a thing.
