  1. Hi, my name is Leandra and I am 13 years old. My Dad got diagnosed with lung cancer last Febuary, about 2 months ago it spread to the brain. I am really scared what is going to happen in the future. Its hard for me to sleep at night because all I can do is think about my Dad so I am really tired when I go to school and usually fall asleep during classes. I never excepted anything like this to happend. I am scared.

  2. Karen C.~ I'm here... sorry i am not been on for a little while! I have been really caught up in ice skating...but I'm here now and I am not as busy since I just passed 2 more ice skating tests and I had to practice a lot for them! The tests were for ice dance so now I am on pre-silver level! :)

Caitlin~ How's your Dad doing....any new news? That is very nice that you cut your hair for locks of love! :)

Alex~ Try to reply soon! We miss you!

  3. Hey Alex

My name is Leandra but most people call me Lea. I live in Maryland and I have a dog named Ripley. He is a golden retriever. I love to ice skate, I do it about 5 days a week. I am on a synchronized ice skating team called the Diamond Chips. If you want to see my team look at this website: www.thediamondchips.com <--- if you do go to that site make sure you look in photogallery at all our team pictures. Caitlin if you can, look at it too! :D:D:D

  4. Caitlin-

I'm glad I can talk to someone who is going through the same thing and also has alot in common with me. That is a good picture of your family. Also that is really cool you are from South Korea. My mom said it is really pretty there because she has been there before. I dont have any brothers or sisters but I have a big dog named Ripley. He is a overweight golden retriever so he is kinda like a person to me beacause of his size. I'm glad your Dad is doing well too!

  5. My Dad's lung cancer shrunk 60-70% He also might be going into remission if all goes well on his next medication or something!! I had to tell someone! Thanks for listening! :D

  6. Thanks so much! That is really sweet of you Jamie! I'm sorry to hear about your Dad and it's good that both of our Dad's are goin through the same thing and stage because then I will know what you are talking about. Tomorrow I am going to the hospital with him and leaving school early. We are finding out major test results, I think. I am kind of nervous and scared to see what they are but I really want to still be there to support him. I hope it is good news! But today we got news that his cancer decresed 45% but he hoping for better!
