[questions about working caregivers]

After a two month leave from work, I just started back full time and my husband is working from home part time . Since, I also have a daughter and an 80 year old mom who needs some assistance, I hired a neighbor who helps with groceries, laundry, cooking, errands, and some caregiving. She helps about two to three hours a day and so far, it has worked out well .

Could anyune who used Iressa, please comment as to at what point it was tried...what you think about it....did your oncologist prescribe or did you seek it, etc...? Any information would be greatly appreciated....

[When and if do you get a second opinion?]

My husband is just had two rounds of chemo and so far, so good...did anyone get a second opinion while things were going ok? How do you know if the chemo drug selection is the best option? Is it just based on success and when a drug fails, you try another one?

HI!

I am glad I found this site. My husband went to the hospital with DVT's only to find out it was NSCLS. He had a 30% reduction with the first PET results....and hopefully the chemo will continue to work. Has anyone had continued reduction with chemo on second and third rounds?
