My father has been on Oxycotin and Percocet---they have just continually upped the dosage as the pain got better. Thanks in advance for the info! Don Wood Posted October 29, 2004 Share Posted October 29, 2004 Lucie is on MSContin, which I think is a relative of Oxycontin.. It is slow release morphine. At present, she is on 30mg twice a day, but she has been on higher doses in the past, depending on her need. She also has Norco, a breakthrough pain med she can take in between if she needs.
